The Adventurers enjoyed a walk to Stoney Stanton park today. They all walked really well and loved exploring the park. In particular they all loved climbing up the rope nets and showing their great thinking and planning skills as they went up and down the net frames.
Today was some of our first time at Forest school and we had so much fun. We sang twinkle twinkle little star and shot gun. With Alex’s help we’ve used loopers and a hand drill for our next project.dit. The inventors loved their trip to the garden centre. We saw statues of different animals and a pirate. We also saw flowers that we thought smelt lovely. We were most excited to see a field full of cows as well.
The Inventors have taken part in Superstar Sports today, where they have been Practicing their dribbling skills with the footballs as well as moving in various ways around the room.The Inventors went to Cosby yarn barn. We walked round Cosby and spotted different animals, shapes and objects. Our favourite was the elephant and the big giant heart. We even walked over a troll bridge being careful not to wake him. The Creator’s children have been on an outing to Cosby on the minibus trekking through the wheat fields, discussed that we make flour using wheat and we use flour to make bread. We've been exploring in the creators with shaving foam using paintbrushes, making swirling patterns and circles. We added different coloured food colouring and then talked about the different colours, red, yellow and green. Once the colours were mixed in we made some yummy ice creams |
