We hope you have all had a lovely summer and we have enjoyed the time at the Summer Clubs with those we have seen over this summer. Welcome back to the before and after school clubs, good luck to those moving up to the next school and welcome to those who are brand new starters to schools and to our clubs!

Friday saw Manorfield Smiles come to Gilmorton Smiles for the day. All the children got on and mixed well, we hope they have made new friends from a different Smiles Club! 

Friday's activities included a treasure hunt, facepainting, free play and wii tournaments. Everyone loved the treasure hunt and it will now be a Friday activity at Gilmorton Smiles. Lots of sweets and prizes were won for the teams that scored the highest points.


At Gilmorton Smiles it is "Animal Week" where lots of activities and challenges will be done around this theme.

At Manorfield Smiles it is 1970's week and there are plenty of exciting activities to offer there, including Flower Power Hippies and making lava lamps!

There is a lot on this week and we hope to see some of you there this week! 

Week 3 of the Summer Holidays already, wow it's going fast! There is a lot of activities on at both Summer Clubs.

At Gilmorton the weather has meant that the beach week has been postponed until later a later week in the summer but there is still a lot going on, we have already had a day of sport, facepainting, fancy-dress, crafts, painting and we even had time to play some board games!  

At Manorfield it is 1960's week. There will be Andy Warhol style art, making 1960's style surfboards, moon landing activities and 1966 World Cup Tournaments! 

Updated on the Website is the new "Gallery" page where lots of photos from the clubs will be posted and kept regularly updated, we hope you enjoy seeing what is going on in the clubs.

There is a lot going on this week in the Smiles Summer Clubs. 

At Gilmorton it is Sports week, we will be doing lots of great activities based around sports and games that the children enjoy and can take part in. We will be doing sports like; Football, Cricket, Dodgeball, Tennis, Badminton and many many more. There will also be other activities for children to take part in if they do not wish to take part in the sports. 

At Manorfield they are continuing through the years and this week is the 1950's. Activities include Olympic Games 1952, Abstract Art, Cooking, Hopscotch Tournament and Gardening. There will also be other activities for children to take part in if they do not wish to take part in the activities available.

After much planning and anticipation the 2015 summer clubs are go. With a lot of activities and themes going on in the settings, children will have a great time in our care! Clubs are open from 7:30am in the morning and run all day until closing at 6pm. Gilmorton Smiles Summer Club is based at the Pavilion and Playing Fields in Gilmorton as there is no access to the school whilst building work is going on. Smiles at Manorfield is open and will continue in the school site. We hope those who we won't see during the summer have a wonderful time and we also wish the Year 6's from all sites the best of luck at their new schools.
